We wouldn’t be without our linings. We see them as a way to bring a garment to life and set it aside from the mainstream. You can carefully tailor a classic jacket to meet all sorts of formal constraints but then fit a thoroughly anarchic or flamboyant lining just to celebrate being you. Which we suggest you do, at all opportunities. Our delicate oyster pink shot jacquard lining fabric is a welcome addition to our range of jacquard linings which will bring luxury and style to your garments.
What kind of fabric is this?
This palest oyster pink shot jacquard lining fabric is a blend of acetate and viscose, both fibres derived from cellulose. It’s a lighter-weight lining, appropriate for skirts, dresses, half-lined trousers, softly-tailored jackets and lighter-weight coats. It has an ornate, classic-styled pattern woven into the fabric. It is a blend of viscose and acetate, with palest lilac yarn used for the widthwise weft thread and cream down the lengthwise warp. If you’re in any doubt about the suitability of this lining for your garment then as always, just drop us a line to discuss or request a free sample.
What does this fabric feel like?
This is a lining with a crisp, smooth satin-like handle. It will be cool and comfortable next to the skin.
How does this fabric move?
Our oyster pink shot jacquard lining fabric has an elegant ripple and falls into folds. It isn’t a fluid lining; it holds a little shape but isn’t a stiff fabric to work with by any means.
