This digitally-printed floral and fruit printed viscose fabric has the look of a Renaissance still life painting that’s broken loose. These cut peaches, half-devoured pomegranates and strings of berries amidst swathes of illuminated flowers – it’s a picture of lush abandonment.
What’s more, our floral and fruit printed viscose fabric has a sense of flowing movement that really does bring these glowing images to life. You can see how it drapes and swings in this video.
Our distinctive floral and fruit printed viscose fabric is a breatheable crepe-de-chine due to its composition. We’d describe it as a lighter-weight dress fabric, but withgood opacity for its weight as a result of the rich blue of the background and the lively print pattern. As a blouse, top or tunic it would work beautifully on its own whilst simply paying attention to your undergarments. As a dress you’d need to consider a lining or slip just to allow it to move against the body and to provide a little additional opacity in the event of being caught with the sun behind you.
We think this is a versatile fabric which would work beautifully as a blouse, a tunic or a dress. We’d suggest using a simple design to allow the print pattern to take centre-stage. A dress like the ‘Kielo’ Wrap Dress from Named Clothing would be a fabulous summer option – plenty of wafting potential and elegant to wear.
You’ll find plenty of examples of this dress made up online – both the shorter and the longer length (which we prefer – maximum potenial for that amazing print pattern!)
Wash at 30 or 40 degrees – see our Fabric care pages for more information.
